UMAR is a non-profit organization that is on a mission to provide community, inclusion, independence and growth for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through residential, employment and cultural enrichment opportunities. This Saturday, May 15th, UMAR will have an Arts Festival on the President’s Lawn of Queen’s University at Charlotte’s Residence Quad (1900 Swelwyn Avenue), Charlotte, NC, 28274 from 2pm to 5pm. The Arts Festival will feature a variety of arts from UMAR Art Centers. There will also be live entertainment, kids’ games and much more. There will be items available for purchase and an opportunity to make donations to UMAR. They are inviting everyone to come an enjoy an outdoor family-friendly festival, purchase artwork, make a donation and meet the UMAR artists. In the event of rain, the festival will be held on June 5th.
