The Annual Greensboro Crop Walk is scheduled for Sunday, October 3. Beginning at 2:30pm at the Coliseum. If you’d be more comfortable walking to end hunger at another location, that would be fine too and you can walk anytime you choose. All monies raised will be going to the Greensboro Urban Ministry and Church World Services (CWS) sending food around the world.
You may give to support the CROP walk by becoming a walker, sponsoring a walker or giving online at https://events.crophungerwalk.org/2021. Register online to be a part of our team (Search for “College Place UMC” at https://greatergreensborocropwalk.org/ there’s also additional information there) or contact the church office to let us know you want to become a team member. We’ll be getting the “tried and true” envelopes Wed., Sept 15th, if that’s easiest for you. OR if you’d like to support the Crop Walk the simple way, you may make a gift to “College Place” with “Crop Walk” indicated and we’ll forward your gift to them from our congregation.
