A new service for our congregation! But ancient in the history of the church. The Vigil was the time that new converts would be baptized after their preparation during the season of Lent. We will gather in the courtyard to light the Paschal Candle from the fire, move to the chapel for readings, and then announce the resurrection of Jesus and celebrate holy communion. Our District Superintendent, the Rev. Bev Coppley, will be preaching and helping to lead our worship.
Join us in the court yard (accessed from the main hall, close to the church office) at 8:00pm.
As the good news is a joyous event, there will be a light reception with refreshments following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
