This past Sunday United Methodist Churches across the Western North Carolina Conference announced new and returning pastors for the 2020-21 year. In our uniquely Methodist way, clergy are appointed each year to serve by our Bishop, Paul L. Leeland, and the Superintendents.
Pastor Jason will return for a tenth year beginning in July.
Also note a change for familiar faces around College Place, The Revs. Cam and Dr. Anne Conover will be appointed as Co-Pastors of Pelham UMC in Caswell County. The District Superintendent has made it clear she is encouraging Anne to continue as Artist-in-Residence and her ministry at CPUMC. The Pelham appointment is 1/4 time, so we’ll be seeing them around for events including Art with Anne and in the art area, “Space for Grace” downstairs.
