A Merged Congregation: A Place to Be

Maybe I’ve learned a few things over the past two years during this pandemic. One, I have realized how very lucky I am in so many ways: my health, my home, my job, my friends and family who care about me, and a congregation who continues to support me and our church’s ministry. Two, how there’s beauty around us even in the day-to-day struggles of life. Three, modern medicine, smart scientists, and wise leaders are a true necessity and blessing for every person. Four, the great importance for me to regularly worship in a often hectic and chaotic world. And five, the best laid plans often don’t work out. I’m sure you could make a list of learnings like this too!

Easter is a pinnacle of learning and is for us to again hear the Good News of life in the midst of death, the constant reminder of God’s presence with us, and to trust in the mighty power of God to bring about good for us all. May this promise strengthen you.

Peace and Happy Easter, Pastor Jason
