The Cotton Patch Gospel: The Gospel of Matthew Not Too Long Ago in rural Georgia will be preformed in the Fellowship Hall on Thursday, October 11, 7:30pm. The Cotton Patch Gospel stays true to the spirit of the Gospel story from Matthew, while adding a lot of Southern charm, great emotion, and humor. The bluegrass music was composed by Harry Chapin (“Cats in the Cradle”) and will be preformed by the Rev. Curtis Campbell, a retired United Methodist a pastor and music director. A love offering will be received to defer cost of performance rights and expenses of the group.
