College Place United Methodist Church is a diverse community welcoming all persons and embracing differences of age, racial and ethnic background, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, family configuration, socioeconomic status, and physical and mental ability. We invite all to join our journey of faith toward greater love, hope, and acceptance in every aspect of our Christian life together.
In our worship, fellowship, and service we seek to grow in our faith and care for our community with acts of love and service. We believe that God’s transformative grace for us moves us to be a people that seek justice and solidarity with those who are oppressed.

John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as “practical divinity” has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
