We will begin a book study of How We Learn to be Brave: Decisive Moments in Life and Faith by Bishop of Washington, DC, Mariann Edgar Budde. She has recently been in the news following her sermon at the Inauguration Prayer Service. The chapters address deciding to go, stay, start, accepting stepping up, letdown, and perseverance – all fitting themes for Lent and life.
Plan now to participate: We’ll offer two sessions each Tuesday, at 12:30 pm and at 6:30 pm (we’ll offer a zoom link, if desired), beginning March 18. Ten copies are ordered and are $20 each (scholarships available, if requested), or you may purchase your own copy or e-version online as well. Ask Pastor Jason if you’d like additional information.
