Nick Shoaf received two bachelor degrees conferred in December 2019 from UNC Greensboro. The degrees include a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Vocal Concentration and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration. Currently Nick is working as a long term substitute teacher for a school choir and he is planning to seek a permanent position in the area to the next academic year. He is also constructing a business model for an arts nonprofit organization that he hops to open in the future.

Nick plans to use his Music Education degree to teach at the secondary education level but still wants to work with nonprofit arts organizations during that time. His long term goal is to become a Director of Education for an arts nonprofit so he can teach his philosophy of being learner centered. Nick also plans to pursue a Masters degree in the near future.
