The Western North Carolina Conference of the UMC will meet June 22-25 at Lake Junaluska. It’s attendants are clergy and laypeople (in equal numbers) from across Western NC. This year, our conference will be lead by our new bishop, Paul Leeland. There is always worship, great preaching, celebrating the lives of clergy and their spouses who have passed away over the past year, celebrate retiring clergy, commission and ordain new clergy, and legislative discussions. It is a time of fellowship too. Please keep Pastor Jason and Jan Nolen (who’s filling in for us this year as delegate in your prayers. Pastor Emeritus Bob Smith is preaching at College Place on June 25.
