We are closely following the General Conference beginning April 23-May 3. And you can too at umc.org and follow the links. It is the only body that can speak and legislate for the United Methodist Church as the whole. We pray for their work and a church that welcomes and in ministry with all people: a church post-pandemic, post-disaffiliation, and fully welcoming to all people.

Join us for celebration of the good news of Christ’s resurrection at 11:00am on March 31. Lots of music, scripture, and joyous celebration. Bring cut flowers from home to adorn the cross. Plan to stay just a few minutes afterwards for the Easter Congregation picture of all who attend.

      A new service for our congregation! But ancient in the history of the church. The Vigil was the time that new converts would be baptized after their preparation during the season of Lent. We will gather in the courtyard to light the Paschal Candle from the fire, move to the chapel for readings, and then announce the resurrection of Jesus and celebrate holy communion. Our District Superintendent, the Rev. Bev Coppley, will be preaching and helping to lead our worship.   

All are welcome to our service with scripture, hymns, and communion on Thursday, March 28 in the sanctuary. Our Good Friday service will be held in the Fellowship Hall with lessons and movement through stations.
